I've been a fan as long as you've been recording. I genuinely appreciate your music. My kids have grown up with you and are also big fans. Both my 20 year old daughter and my 16 year old daughter texted me from class today when they saw it in the local music mag. So the whole family is really, really looking forward to finally getting to see you play in Spokane on 2/26. Safe travels, Matthew. _________________ life'll kill ya |

Ahhh that's great news.... It's been a long time since I've been out west. So I'm really looking forward to it too! |

My teenage daughter Jocelyn and her friend Emily, whom you met when you played Spokane were talking about you (again) tonight. I can't tell you how much it meant to me to finally get to see you play live, and while Jocelyn was thrilled that you sang a song "just for" her, I was really impressed that my favorite songwriter would choose to play her a song written by one of my other favorite songwriters (Burt Bacharach: "What do you get when you fall in love"). We're all still out here buying, listening to, learning from, and enjoying your music. I hope you come back through Spokane again someday, and I wish you all the best, Matthew. Take care. --Kelly _________________ life'll kill ya |
