Hello –
My name is Mike Gomoll and some of you here on the board know me.
In March 2010, my youngest son Joey passed away unexpectedly just a few weeks short of his fifth birthday. Joey suffered from Dravet’s Syndrome, a rare form of epilepsy his entire life. We have setup a foundation in Joey’s name and are releasing a series of CDs to raise awareness and money for the Epilepsy Foundation.
Along with Matthew, we have over 50 artists donating unreleased and rare tracks – many available only on our CDs – to our series we are calling Joey’s Song. Among the artists we have so far, and we are adding new artists every week, are : Cowoby Junkies, Five For Fighting, Steve Forbert, Neko Case, The Bottle Rockets, Thea Gilmore, Kate Rusby, del Amitri, Iron & Wine, Freedy Johnston, Raul Malo, Lowen & Navarro, Eileen Rose, Concrete Blonde and many more.

| So sorry to read about your loss. But it's also amazing to read of such a positive effort on behalf of others. I look forward to buying the CD, and wish you & everyone else involved the very best with this wonderful project! |

Got both CDs in the mail last week!
Here's hoping that all of your hard work and emotional involvement pays off with these, and thankyou for bringing so many artists along with Matthew to contribute so many unique songs! Probably typing too many exclamation marks here  |
