What Matthew Ryan lyric most resonates with you or has special meaning? Since the lyrics are so personal and unique I suppose the experience of hearing them is equally personal and unique.
For me I think...
"It was one bedroom with a dog in the thorn
I remember thinkin' about dad as I was walkin out the door.
Lookin' back seein' the girl you never should be
heartbroke and poor lovesick and lonely."
from Sadlylove
Reminds me of how my father passed away tragically and the echo sort of tore apart my relationship with my child's mother.
See how I mean? I'd love to know what is there for you in the Dude's words...
So abide! _________________ "It happens fast for some people and slow for some, accidents or gravity, but we all end up mutilated."

Now I'm always smilin' cyryin'
And hidin' my intent
Since I became irrelevant.
when I'm a bit down I somehow manage to convince myself I'm irrelevant to my better half, although in reality I know nothing could be further from the truth!
I'll try and bring to mind a more cheery example later. |

Lyrics are very personal. It depends on how people will evaluate the lyrics of the song. It consist experiences of the song writer in his every song. _________________ My online Lyrics. |

"You know
I think
I am
Heroic in a failing way
For some of us it goes that way"
"The clocks are quiet
Little Joe's in jail
You know he got drunk last Sunday
Piss drunk and ornery
Took a swing, no bail" |
